PHILADELPHIA — The Temple volleyball team recorded a well-earned 3-0 sweep over visiting Wichita State on Sunday afternoon at McGonigle Hall. The Owls snapped a four-match skid, grabbing the win, 25-19, 25-13, 25-23, to improve to 11-10 overall, 2-8 in conference play.
Keys to the Match
> Temple had its best offensive performance in conference play, hitting .333 for the match, holding Wichita State to a .136 attack.
> Temple also out-dug the Shockers, 48-40, while blocks were even at six each.
> After a slow start, Temple took control of set one, using a long run midway through the action take it, 25-19.
