PHILADELPHIA -- Temple volleyball will add a talented transfer to the 2016 team, as the Owls welcome Kyra Coundourides. An accomplished setter, Coundourides played her first two years at Virginia Tech.
"We're very excited to welcome Kyra to our program," said head coach Bakeer Ganesharatnam. "She's going to be a tremendous asset to us in attaining our goals for this year and next year. We've known her for about five years and her competiveness and her great work ethic will fit within our team culture perfectly."
In two seasons at Virginia Tech, Coundourides played in 59 career matches, tallying 956 total assists, 304 digs, and 46 aces.
