KENT, OH. – Temple women's gymnastics totaled a 188.4 on Sunday afternoon in its second competition of the season. The Owls fell to the Kent State Golden Flashes who posted a 195.15 in their season opener.
The bar team kicked off the competition and posted the highest total event score of the day. Sophomore Sahara Gipson led the Owls on the event posting a personal-best 9.7 on her routine. Junior Bri Odom and sophomore Kerry Arone scored season-highs of 9.675. Freshman Elizabeth McDuffie made her collegiate debut on the event, earning a 9.
