PHILADELPHIA – After a high energy battle, Temple men's soccer fell to UConn 2-0 in its first match of conference play. Despite great efforts by freshman Alan Camacho Soto, sophomores Thibault Candia and Nick Sarver, Temple offense could not get a goal past the Huskies.
Keys to the Match
>Both teams managed a combined 10 fouls in the first 23 minutes of the match. Yellow cards were issued to both Blaise N'Gauge and sophomore Albert Moreno.
>The Huskies opened scoring with a goal from Abdou Mbacke Thiam (his fifth of the season) in the 25th minute.
