PHILADELPHIA – Two Temple University men's basketball standouts, Rahlir Hollis-Jefferson (Detroit Pistons) and Scootie Randall (Sacramento Kings), are playing in the 2017 NBA Summer League.
The duo last played together as Owls during the 2012-13 campaign with Randall, a fifth-year senior, Hollis-Jefferson, a senior, starting for the team that compiled a 24-10 record. That Owl squad defeated #3 Syracuse at Madison Square Garden before advancing to the third round of the NCAA Tournament.
Randall, who averaged 11.3 points that season, has been playing in the Japan the last two years. The two-time All-Star averaged 23.
