PHILADELPHIA – Trailing 23-20 near the end of the first set, Temple Volleyball rallied for five-straight points to win the first set 25-23 and never looked back in a 3-0 win over UCF on Friday night in American Conference Volleyball action. Temple (19-8, 10-5 American) never trailed in the final two sets, winning 25-13 and 25-16 over the Knights (14-13, 8-7 American).
The Owls, who hit .282 as a team in the win, got a match-high 12 kills from sophomore Izzy Rapacz. Rapacz hit .611 (12-1-18) with nine kills coming from both sophomore Irem Asci and junior Kirsten Overton.
