ANNAPOLIS, Md. – As the Temple men's tennis team finished up day two at the Joe Hunt Invitational hosted by Navy, three Owls will advance to the championship of their respective flights on Sunday.
In E singles, senior Maros Januvka battled with Navy's Josh Martin, 6-4, 5-7, 6-2 to earn a spot in Sunday's championship match. His opponent will be senior Ian Glessing, who defeated Navy's Parker Hayslett, 6-1, 6-2.
"I was really happy the guys performed today, especially impressed with Artem, Ian and Maros, who all reached the finals of their flights," said head coach Steve Mauro.
