PHILADELPHIA - Records are made to be broken and Temple University did just that with a record-setting fall semester in the classroom. The 500-plus Owl student-athletes combined for a 3.13 grade point average, marking the highest on record for the fall semester. It also marked the sixth straight semester with a combined GPA above a 3.10 and the 12th straight semester above a 3.0.
"Every semester our student-athletes seem to set records where it matters - in the classroom," said Temple University Director of Athletics Dr. Patrick Kraft. "I congratulate not only our student-athletes for their hard work, but also our coaches and our exceptional academic support staff led by Justin Miller.
