PHILADELPHIA - The bar has been raised yet again for the performance of Temple University student-athletes in the classroom, as the Owls earned a Spring 2019 semester grade-point average of 3.26, surpassing the 3.24 GPA from the fall semester.
The number of student-athletes achieving a semester GPA of 3.0 or above is a record 76.5 percent, including a record 38 perfect 4.0 GPAs and 212 (43%) student-athletes with a 3.5 GPA or above.
"The dedication our student-athletes have to achieving success in the classroom is unmatched," said Director of Athletics Dr. Patrick Kraft, "and I am so proud of the way our young men and women represent this University.
