PHILADELPHIA -- Quenton DeCosey scored 22 points and grabbed six rebounds to help lead Temple to a 77-73 victory over cross-town rival Penn on Wednesday night.
Jaylen Bond finished with 12 points and a game-high 10 rebounds and Obi Enechionyia added 11 points for the Owls (4-4), who have won three their last four following a 1/3 start to the season.
Temple never trailed in the second half, building a lead as high as 12. Penn's Matt Howard made a layup to cut the Quakers deficit to 61-56 with 6:19 left.
