NEW YORK - Temple lacrosse earned All-BIG EAST honors in record numbers when the league office announced the awards on Wednesday morning, while Head Coach Bonnie Rosen and her assistants were named the Co-Coaching Staff of the Year in the conference.
Temple and Florida shared Coaching Staff of the Year honors in a vote by the league's eight head coaches. After being picked to finish sixth in the league this season, the Owls tied for third and earned the third seed at the BIG EAST Tournament by virtue of tiebreakers. Temple's 12 wins this season are its most in eight years, since the 2008 squad went 13-7 and won the Atlantic 10 Championship.
