BALTIMORE - It was the fourth double-digit win of the season and the fifth straight win for Temple lacrosse, as the Owls came out strong and finished with a 19-9 win at UMBC (3-2) on Saturday afternoon. Senior Brenda McDermott notched her second hat trick of the season in leading the Owls (5-1) with five goals and an assist.
Also recording six total points was senior Megan Tiernan with three goals and three assists, as Tiernan tallied her third hat trick of the season. There were three hat tricks for Temple in all, with senior Rachel Schwaab recording four goals for her second hat trick of the year.
