WALTHAM, Mass. - The season has concluded for Temple fencing after two days of competition at the NCAA Championships, hosted by Brandeis University. The Owls placed 11th of the 21 women's teams represented at the national meet, and had four fencers represent the program.
Sophomore Safa Ibrahim, competing for a second year in a row, was Temple's highest finisher, taking 17th in epee. Senior Jessica Hall placed 21st in epee in her first-ever appearance at the NCAA Championships. Ibrahim won 10 of 23 bouts, while Hall won eight.
In sabre, senior Petra Khan placed 19th for the Owls, and senior Demi Antipas placed 23rd in foil.
