INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – A record seven Temple athletic teams have been publicly recognized for their multi-year academic performance rate (APR), the NCAA announced Wednesday. Men's tennis is being recognized for the fourth-straight year while women's tennis and men's cross country garnered the honor for the second-straight year. Men's and women's basketball, women's cross country and women's soccer were also honored by the NCAA.
"This caps what has been an incredible year for Temple Athletics," said Temple's Director of Athletics Dr. Patrick Kraft. "To set a record where it matters most, with seven teams excelling in the classroom, is truly an amazing accomplishment.
