PHILADELPHIA – Temple University announced that Todd Centeio and Casey Williams have joined the football team and have begun classes. Both will be eligible to participate in spring practices with the Owls in 2017.
Centeio (6-0, 205) is a native of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., where he attended William T. Dwyer High. He played quarterback for head coach Jack Daniels and threw for 2,344 yards and 31 touchdowns in 2016. During that senior season, he earned first-team Palm Beach Football 8A-6A, Sun Sentinel honors, and was a Lou Groza Award finalist.
