PHILADELPHIA – Six former Temple University men's basketball greats, Nate Blackwell, Mardy Collins, Lynn Greer, Mik Kilgore, Aaron McKie and Mark Tyndale, will be among the 25-member Class of 2019 inducted into the Philadelphia Black Basketball Hall of Fame Sunday afternoon 17 at the HERO Community Center. Temple head coach Fran Dunphy will also be honored as a friend of the Philadelphia BBHOF at the ceremony which starts at 2 pm.
The six Owls being honored all rank among Temple's top 20 all-time scorers and combined for 10,576 points during their careers on North Broad Street.
