PENNSAUKEN, N.J. -- The Temple women's rowing team tied its best-ever finish, taking third place overall at the 2018 American Athletic Conference Championships. The Owls finished third or higher in four of the six races, coming away with three bronze medals.
TEAMWORK
> The Owls combined for 148 team points to take third behind only UCF (209) and Tulsa (160). The Owls edged SMU's 144 points to take third, while Sacramento State (116), San Diego State (95), and UConn (67) rounded out the field.
> Temple secured three bronze medals, coming away with hardware in the second varsity eight, the varsity four, and the second varsity four.
