ORLANDO – Senior guard Quinton Rose rebounded from a tough shooting game to lead Temple to a 65-42 win over Texas A&M Friday in the consolation bracket of the Orlando Invitational. Rose who made just four-of-16 Thursday against Maryland, led all scorers with 19 points while also dishing a team-high four assists.
The Owls defense was stifling, holding the Aggies to 22.4 percent shooting from the field (13-58) and 18.2 percent from long range (6-33). The 42 points were the fewest by a Temple opponent since a 40-37 Owls win over American on Nov.
