WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Redshirt junior Erik Reisner shot a two-under 69 Monday on the second day of play at the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate to help Temple maintain eighth place in the 21-team field. The Owls, which improved 18 strokes from their first round, are 21 shots behind the leader Loyola-Maryland heading into Tuesday's final round at the par-71, 6,817-yard Golden Horseshoe Gold Course.
Recapping the Day
- Reisner, who struggled with a 79 on his opening round Sunday, rebounded with six birdies to lead the Cherry and White. It was the third sub-70 round of the year for Reisner who leads the Owls and is tied for 26th with a six-over 148.
