HOUSTON – The Temple women's basketball team (12-12, 7-6 AAC) suffered its second consecutive loss on Wednesday night, falling to the Houston Cougars (12-12, 5-7 AAC) by a score of 80-60. Down by eight points with four minutes to play in the third quarter, the Cougars ended the quarter on a 13-4 run to take command for the rest of the contest. Red hot shooting (50.0% from three-point land) from the Cougars kept the Owls from cutting into the deficit.
