PHILADELPHIA – Temple University set a new school record with 10 of its athletic teams receiving NCAA Division I Academic Performance Program (APP) Public Recognition. This recognition honors the Top 10 percent of Division I teams across the nation for their multi-year academic performance. The previous school mark was seven, established in 2017 and matched again in 2018 and 2019.
Temple is one of only eight Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) schools to have 10 or more of its programs publicly recognized. The other FBS schools with 10 or more programs recognized include: Stanford (16), Northwestern (14), Notre Dame (13), Arizona State (12), Navy (11), California (10) and Duke (10).
