BRADENTON, Fla. - The path to the WNBA was not an easy one for former Temple women's basketball standout Shey Peddy. The 2012 Atlantic-10 Conference Player of the Year played multiple seasons overseas before finally earning a spot on the Washington Mystics 2019 roster as a 30-year-old rookie.
Her rollercoaster journey continued as Peddy saw many highs and lows over the next two seasons. After winning the 2019 WNBA championship as a member of the Washington Mystics organization, Peddy entered the unprecedented 2020 WNBA season as a Mystic before she was released on August 17.
