PHILADELPHIA – The first round of the NFL Playoffs saw former Owls finding success both playing on the field and coaching from the sidelines, breaking long playoff droughts for multiple franchises along the way.
The first game of the weekend saw offensive tackle Dion Dawkins (2013-16), linebacker Tyler Matakevich (2012-15), and the #2 seed Buffalo Bills hosting the #7 seed Indianapolis Colts. Indianapolis cornerback Rock Ya-Sin (2018) was unfortunately still in concussion protocol and not able to play in Saturday's game.
Buffalo used a 17-0 run from the end of the first half into the fourth quarter to prevail in a 27-24 win, the first playoff victory for Buffalo since 1995.
