Head Coach Bruce Arians (1983-88) and his staff filled with former Temple personnel, had a successful return to Philadelphia on Thursday Night Football when his Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the Eagles, 28-22. Shaun Bradley (2016-19) had three tackles for the hometown Eagles.
Matt Rhule (2013-16) and his Carolina Panthers' staff littered with Temple connections lost a heartbreaker in overtime to the Minnesota Vikings, 34-28. As always, former Owls had something to say about the results of the game. Haason Reddick (2012-16), Sean Chandler (2014-17), and Sam Franklin (2016-19) helped a stingy defense. Reddick had eight tackles and a fumble recovery to set up the Panthers first score.
