PHILADELPHIA -- A bonze medal from Temple's novice eight boat highlighted a solid day of racing for the Owls' women's rowing team at the 2016 Head of the Schuylkill Regatta.
"I thought it was a solid day all around," noted head coach Rebecca Grzybowski. "Every boat class was competitive which is always good to see in the fall and a medal in the frosh/novice 8 is always great."
Temple's novice eight finished third overall to earn a bronze medal in a field of 41 boats. The Owls finished in 16:51.966, while the novice "B" boat also had a great race, finishing 12th in 18:14.
