PHILADELPHIA - After going 4-3 at the Philadelphia Invitational to close out January competition, the No. 9 Temple fencing team will return to the strip for two days at the Northwestern Multi Meet.
The Owls are 9-7 in dual play heading into the weekend, defeating several top-10 teams in the process. The team's biggest win so far this season was a 17-10 victory over then-No. 6 Northwestern to open up the final day of the Philadelphia Invitational.
In its last competition before a 12-day break, Temple went 4-3 and saw multiple standout performances. The foil squad led the team, going 5-2 overall and 3-1 on the second day of competition.
