GILBERT, Ariz. - With 19 student-athletes named to the 2019 Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad, Temple once again tied for the second-most honorees of all 75 institutions to make the list.
This year, 1,052 total student-athletes earned recognition. The Division I National Academic Squad program honors student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.3 or higher through the first semester of the 2019-20 academic year.
Towson University led all institutions with 20 selections. Four schools tied for second-most including Temple, with the Owls joined by Dartmouth, Villanova, and Yale.
Seniors , , , , , , and earned the honor all four years of their Temple field hockey careers.
