PHILADELPHIA – Nine Temple women's gymnasts have been named National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches (NACGC) Scholastic All-Americans following the 2017 season. The NACGC honors these gymnasts for earning a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher in the 2016-17 academic year.
Seven of the Owls' nine honorees were either freshmen or sophomores who will return to the team next year. The highest GPA of the year belonged to senior Briana Odom, a psychology major, at 3.82. Odom was a co-captain who competed in all 13 meets this past season, earning career-highs on both vault and floor.
