PRINCETON, N.J. – The Temple men's tennis team headed to New Jersey this weekend to compete in the Farnsworth Invitational, hosted by Princeton.
On Friday, the Owls struggled as junior Vineet Naran was the only player to win his singles match in the Pagoda flight, defeating Lehigh's Tyler Hansen, 6-2, 5-7, 10-8.
In Orange doubles, Temple had a better showing with freshmen Uladzimir Dorash and Artem Kapshuk winning 8-4 over NJIT's Andres Alban and Luka Kaic. Dorash and Kapshuk dropped their second-round matchup with Wisconsin's John Zordani and Jose Maria Martin De Oliva Carranza, 8-6.
