WASHINGTON – A mid-week matchup ended in a 4-2 fall for Temple men's tennis. Despite some big doubles wins, the Owls were unable to hold off the Colonials in singles play.
Temple pairs of Uladzimir Dorash and Francisco Bohorquez and Thomas Sevel and Florian Mayer recorded wins within the doubles flights.
Artem Kapshuk and Dorash opened up the singles play with an unfinished match and a drop to Colonials Julius Tverijonas and Chris Fletcher. Sevel was able to record a 6-2, 6-1 victory over Chris Reynolds, but was followed up by three George Washington wins against Mayer, Bohorquez and Filip Stipcic.
