LORETTO, Pa. – The Temple men's tennis team extended its winning streak to eight in a row, picking up a 6-1 road victory over Saint Francis (Pa.) on Sunday.
The Owls started off strong in doubles, as Artem Kapshuk and Nicolas Paulus defated Rodrigo Tico and Robin van der Hejiden, 6-1 at the second flight. Uladzimir Dorash and Florian Mayer clinched the point at the third flight with a 6-2 victory over Plamen Avuski and Jan Vit Suntar.
The Red Flash tied things up at 1-1 at the start of singles play, as Suntar defeated Paulus, 6-4, 6-4 at the third flight.
