PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Despite the soggy conditions, the Temple men's tennis team was able to squeeze a win out of the visiting Duquesne University Dukes, 5-2 on Saturday afternoon at TU Pavilion. The Owls move to 17-5 overall on the season.
Duquesne was able to pick up the first doubles win, as Tim Kane and Harry Walshe defeated Santiago Canete at the third flight, 6-3. Temple would bounce back as Hicham Belkssir and Vineet Naran took down Corey Robinson and Dimitris Stavropoulos 6-3 at the first flight. The Owls then clinched the point after Florian Mayer and Uladzimir Dorash posted a 6-3 victory over Adam Blasinsky and Chris Corrao at the second flight.
