PHILADELPHIA - The Temple men's tennis team picked up another victory on Saturday afternoon after downing the visiting Hampton University Pirates, 6-0. The Owls are now 18-5 overall on the season.
Temple swept the singles point, with Artem Kapshuk picking up a 6-2, 6-0 win at the second flight over Fedor Shirin, while Nicolas Paulus cruised to a 6-2, 6-3 win over Charles Hudson at the fourth flight. Hicham Belkssir was also able to pick up a win at the fifth flight, defeating Miguel Suarez, 6-2, 6-1. Florian Mayer clinched the match with a 6-1, 6-0 win at the sixth flight over Joshua McQueen.
