AMBLER, Pa. – Temple men's soccer dropped its fifth conference match Wednesday afternoon, falling 2-0 to UConn. The Owls now stand at 9-5-2 overall with only two games left in the regular season.
Despite outshooting the Huskies 7-4 through the match, the Owls were unable to find the back of the net. Joonas Jokinen and Justin Stoddart showed the best chances with their shots being saved by the Huskies' goalkeeper.
The Owls held the Huskies to only one shot in the first half, with the first 45 minutes ending without a score from either team.
