PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Temple men's soccer players Jorge Gomez Sanchez, Carlos Moros Gracia and Belal Mohamed have earned spots on the American Athletic Conference's regular season awards list. Gomez Sanchez and Moros Gracia were named to the All-Conference second team and Mohamed was selected to the All-Rookie team.
This is the first season for all three Owls, who logged a winning 10-7-2 overall record and ended their run in the conference tournament on Nov. 7 with a 4-0 loss to UConn.
Gomez Sanchez made his mark nationally and within the Temple men's soccer program, finishing his debut season in a tie for fifth in goals scored in a single season with 13.
