STORRS, Conn. – Temple men's soccer completed its 2015 season on Saturday night, falling 4-0 to UConn in the American Athletic Conference quarterfinals. The Owls posted five total shots but were unable to find the back of the net against the Huskies.
Simen Olafsen got on the board first for the Huskies, heading in UConn's first goal off a corner kick in the 34th minute. The first half ended with UConn up by a single goal.
Three Owls posted strong scoring chances, with Jorge Gomez Sanchez, Jared Martinelli and Joonas Jokinen taking shots on goal in hopes of finding an equalizer.
