TULSA, Okla. – Temple men's soccer fell to American Athletic Conference rival Tulsa, 2-0, on Saturday evening. The Owls now move to 9-4-2 overall and 1-4 in the conference.
Both Hurricane goals came in the second half. The first was scored by Michael Mitrik in the 71st minute. Zach Jackson scored the second to make the final score 2-0.
Multiple Owls saw close chances throughout the entire game, taking 15 total shots with seven being on target. Jorge Gomez Sanchez led the way with five of eight total shots being on goal.
Carlos Moros Gracia, Hermann Doerner and Joonas Jokinen all logged two shots apiece.
