PHILADELPHIA – The Temple University men's soccer squad (4-5-3, 1-1-1) fought another 110 minute battle on Saturday evening, ending the American Athletic Conference match-up against a challenging Memphis team (5-3-3, 1-1-1) in a 1-1 draw. Temple's goal came off the foot of freshman Jalen Campbell, his second on the season.
How it Happened
> After strong defensive efforts and multiple bursts of back and forth possession, Memphis took the first shot of the game in the ninth minute of action. A deflection diverted the ball into Temple's 18 yard box, leading Memphis' Alexandros Ierides to collect it and a rocket a shot towards goal for the Tigers, just barely hitting the crossbar.
