PHILADELPHIA - Dawson Anders, a 6-3, 160-pound incoming Temple freshman, won his first Golf Association of Philadelphia (GAP) title this week defeating Huntingdon Valley Country Club's Brian Isztwan, 6&4 on June 29 to win the GAP 103rd Junior Boys' Championship held at the par-72, 6,607-yard Spring Ford Country Club.
The final round between the two competitors had been rescheduled from its original date (June 21) due to unplayable conditions as a result of storms.
Anders, who plays out of Indian Valley Country Club, is a graduate of Souderton High. He previously had won the 2016 Montgomery County Junior Championship, the PPGA Chapter Jr.
