STATE COLLEGE, Pa.— The Temple men's cross country team earned first place at the Penn State National Open Friday morning at the Blue and White Courses. Zach Seiger finished fifth overall and first for the Owls with his time of 25:36.7.
About the Meet of Champions
> The Owls were one of the 11 teams competing at the Blue and White Courses for the 5.2 mile race.
> Rounding out the top three were Penn and Penn State. In this week's USTFCCCA Regional rankings, Penn was at the top of the list while the Owls were ranked fifth and Penn State fell at seven.
