PHILADELPHIA - Despite a career-high 27 points from Quinton Rose, the top-ranked Villanova Wildcats proved too much for Temple men's basketball in an 87-67 loss for the Owls (6-3) in front of a capacity crowd at the Liacouras Center. The win gives Villanova the outright Philadelphia Big 5 title at 4-0 as the Wildcats (11-0) won their 22nd straight city series contest.
