CHARLESTON, S.C. – Jeremiah Williams scored a career-high 20 points and Khalif Battle had a game and season-high 28 to lead Temple to a 75-58 win over Elon in the seventh-place game of the Shriners Children's Charleston Classic Sunday morning at TD Arena.
Williams nearly had a triple-double as he had a game-high eight assists and tied Battle and Sage Tolbert III for game-high honors with eight rebounds. He came into the game making only one-of-11 from the free throw line but drained 13-of-14 to help seal the victory.
