Lacrosse's Late Rally Thwarts Georgetown Comeback

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Behind a career-tying 11 saves from Maryn Lowell and a three-goal, four-assist effort by Brenda McDermott, Temple lacrosse broke a late tie and won 11-9 at Georgetown (4-7, 2-1) in a key BIG EAST victory. The Owls (9-2, 2-1) led 9-5 before allowing the Hoyas to come all the way back, but Amber Lambeth and Anna Frederick both scored for Temple in the final minute and a half after the Owls came up with both draw controls.

"We're always prepared for the runs and for the emotions of those runs," said Temple head coach Bonnie Rosen.
