PHILADELPHIA - The Temple lacrosse team is finishing the 2021 season with a No. 19 ranking in the IWLCA Poll. The Owls advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1998, falling to eventual NCAA Champion Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Mass. last month.
Finishing the historic season with a 13-6 (7-3 AAC) record, the Owls earned a No. 3 seed in the American Conference Tournament and were the tournament runner-ups. The team earned an at-large NCAA Tournament bid for the first time since 1998, when they were an independent, after an outstanding regular season performance.
