PHILADELPHIA - After a near-upset of the second ranked team in the nation, Temple lacrosse returns home Saturday to face BIG EAST foe Vanderbilt (4-7, 0-2) at 1 p.m. The Owls (8-3, 0-1) are currently receiving consideration in both the Inside Lacrosse Top 20 Media Poll and the Nike/Lacrosse Magazine Women's Top 20.
In the Owls' BIG EAST opener at #2 Florida last Saturday, they nearly pulled off the upset but fell by just a single goal, 10-9. Two of the Owls' three losses have come to teams ranked in the IWLCA Top 20, with the other being against #16 Louisville on Feb.
