NEWTON, Mass. – The Temple lacrosse team (13-6, 7-3 AAC) fell 21-11 to Boston College (14-3, 8-2 ACC) Sunday afternoon in the Second Round of the NCAA Championships. Junior Lauren Zinkl led the scoring charge for Temple, while senior Olivia Martin came up big between the pipes.
Recapping the Game
> Boston College jumped out quickly, scoring the first three goals of the day in the first four minutes of the first half.
> Sophomore Mackenzie Roth put Temple on the board with an unassisted goal, but BC countered with three more to go up 6-1 at the 20-minute mark.
