PHILADELPHIA -- Temple lacrosse won its seventh-straight game in dominating fashion, as the Owls topped visiting Saint Joseph's, 16-4, on Saturday afternoon at Geasey Field. Temple improves to 7-1 overall, while the Hawks dip to 1-5.
Temple allowed under five goals for the third time this season, and while the Owls' offense rolled, head coach Bonnie Rosen pointed to the defensive effort as one of the keys to today's victory.
"I was really happy with how we played defensively and I think it's important to note that the defense runs the whole field," she noted.
