PHILADELPHIA -- The Louisville Sports Commission today named _ multi-talented college football players to the 2017 Watch List for the Paul Hornung Award presented by Texas Roadhouse. Temple's redshirt senior wide receiver Keith Kirkwood is among those selected.
Kirkwood, a 6-3, 218-pound target, enters the 2017 campaign with 46 career receptions for 717 yards and five touchdowns. Following a transfer from Hawaii in 2014, the Neptune, N.J., native has played 23 games for the Owls over the 2014-16 seasons. He emerged as a go-to receiver for quarterback Phillip Walker a year ago and caught a touchdown pass with one second remaining in a 26-25 victory at UCF.
