PHILADELPHIA – The Seattle Seahawks selected Temple DE Jacob Martin (Aurora, Col.) in the sixth round of the 2018 National Football League Draft on Saturday afternoon. He was the 186th overall selection in the 2018 NFL Draft and the first for Temple.
Martin is a four-year letterwinner who was a team captain and was also awarded second-team all-conference honors for the 2017 season. He finished the year second on the team in sacks (8.0), second in TFLs (11.0), first in fumble recoveries (2) and tied for second in forced fumbles (2). Martin played in 50 games during his career with the Owls.
