PHILADELPHIA - Temple University's Millie Howard was named a Third Team Academic All-American Women's Track & Field/Cross Country honoree by CoSIDA, announced by the organization Thursday. This award recognizes student-athletes for their combined excellence in competition and in the classroom.
The recognition for the decorated runner comes just a few weeks after she was named to the 2020 Academic All-District Women's Track & Field/Cross Country Team by CoSIDA. Howard won three American championships during her career, racing to victory in the mile at the 2018 (4:46.21) American Indoor Championships, the 1500-meter run (4:21.
